What is needed when picking up or collecting a package?

valid government ID must be presented for the collection of a package. All packages must have the name (consignee) that matches the name on the government-issued ID.

Can I have someone pick up my package?

Yes, third-party pickup is supported, but the consignee must inform the company of the name of the party that will be picking up on their behalf, and the party must take along a valid government-issued ID and a copy of the invoice for the item(s) he/she will be picking up.

Can I choose which items I want to collect?

Packages must be collected starting with the oldest invoiced item first.

How will ILS Courier Ja. know the package is mine?

As soon as your registration is completed, a mailbox number will be assigned to you. You will then use this mailbox number, name and over seas address to ship packages. Once a package arrives, We will notify you by email and you will then see the package details on your account.

Is there a weight limit or restriction on any item?

At ILS CourierJA., there are no restrictions on size or weight, so you do not have to worry. We will ship almost anything, however there may be specific import regulations that prevent the importation of certain items. Some items may also require a government issued permit.

Should I notify ILS Courier Ja. of any incoming packages?

YES, you may do a pre-alert, however, you do not need to notify us. We will notify you by email as soon as we receive your package.

When will I be charged duty?

Duty is charged by the Jamaica Customs Agency on items that value over US$100.

How do I request delivery?

You can make a request on you account, call or text our WhatsApp number or send us an email with the location and time you would like your package delivered.

When do I pay for delivery?

At the time of delivery or when the request is made
